ABOUT

Peace Child began as a musical play. The play was a children's response to the Cold War and their fear of nuclear weapons. It expressed the feelings of the Soviet and American cast members about their situation of being, so they thought, helpless victims of adults and politicians on both sides of the issue of nuclear war. Fortunately, that problem is past. There are, however, many new issues to take its place, and our children are still in a position of not having much of a voice concerning their world.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

As a cast member of Peace Child, you will be co-creating the script throughout your time in Phoenix, based on an outline of the Peace Child play. Throughout discussions about pressing topics of our communities and world, cast members will decide on one topic to present to their audiences, express their views, and find a solution. The point is not to have one view over others, but to discuss and come to mutual understanding of one another's experience in life.

Production is FREE for all participants.
